 It sounds like your uplink is forcing MD5 connections. I don`t
think AfterShock supports MD5 currently.

Are you running the system your AfterShock is connecting to?

If it`s a Mystic System set MD5 to no, or yes but not forced.

 If it`s a binkd system don`t start binkd with -md5 but use that
on the node lines when you know MD5 is supported.

It`s a bad idea to force MD5 since it`s not supported by all mailers.
