I didn`t say it didn`t.  But the 2nd law is *about*
closed systems.

open or closed system.  Ever heard of a refrigerator?

If you`d read and understood it, you`d see that it
doesn`t say dS/dt can`t be negative in an open system,
which any biological organism is, as well as its habitat.

More important, it says nothing about genetic
degradation.  Maybe you haven`t noticed that the genetic
content of living things has been continuously refined
and diversified over the last few billion years.
