The tor network and tor browser were developed for people who are in danger
if something about their real identity is leaked on the Internet.
For example in countries with no free speech, no free access to informations
outside their land or whisteblowers.

Because it is driven by volunteers and routed around the world it`s bandwidth
and speed is somehow limited.
So if you for example unnecessarily try to stream a video that is publicly
available in your country via tor browser, you `steal` some capacity from
people, who are really in need.
