That sounds normal to me.
Was it not that way at TD Ameritrade?

I suggest you read and consider that FAQ carefully.

[You also might check your previous Schwab "test" download 
to a NEW Quicken file and note the characteristics of each 
newly activated Schwab account in Quicken ... including 
"nicknames".  Or, if that test file is no longer available,  
create a new one and start the test over.
Have you given your Schwab accounts nicknames at the 
Schwab web site?]

Then deactivate ALL "your" old TD Ameritrade accounts AND 
ALL "your" currently activated Schwab accounts.
[Have you ever had any Schwab accounts before the 
TD Ameritrade transfer? 
If so, make sure they are also deactivated.]

While the Schwab accounts are deactivated, I suggest 
going to the Edit Account Details dialog for each account 
and clearing the financial institution name, and the account
number (and user-id, if present).

Then use the "Add Account" process (NOT the re-activate 
process) to reactivate all "your" Schwab accounts at one time 
(you should be required, by Schwab, to "authorize" all your 
Schwab accounts before they will be downloaded).
Make certain that each Schwab account "discovered" by 
Quicken is "Link[ed]" to the correct existing Quicken account.

[I download 4 Schwab investment accounts and 2 Schwab 
bank accounts in each OSU (using my user-id/password) - 
and 1 investment account for my girlfriend 
(who has a different Schwab user-id/password than I).]
