Googling this, that message has been around for at least ten years.

Someone uses the Error Console here, to conclude maybe it was an
authentication issue. That seems to be the focus.

There was something recently about the password manager, and
not being able to tell the difference between tokens expiring and
passwords expiring. The locus of the problems are really
all to blame on OAUTH2 and its ilk (changing authentication model,
bailing wires and binder twine keep breaking).
