There is no such thing as Thunderbird for Android (with a calendar).
Currently K-9 is "TB for Android" but has neither usenet nor calendar
functionality.

You can sync the calendar on your smartphone with TB on your
desktop/laptop. Let both use the same CalDAV-server.
