Yeah, it is quite amusing someone turning up out of the blue to
an existing newsgroup that has been operating for decades and
telling a bunch of adults how to run it properly.

Is there not some existing allegedly-properly-run forum?

This is an "alt" newsgroup. I don`t think they are ever moderated.

I think it stands for "aliens, lunatics and terrorists". So turning
up to an existing group of supposed self-identifying lunatics
and complaining about alleged lunacy. I guess he fits right in
as Chief Lunatic. I especially like the appeals to every individual
who (makes a sovereign) decides to reply to me. Didn`t everyone
else outgrow such things in like the 3rd grade or something?

And he doesn`t seem to know what a "troll" is either.

And he can`t stand the free marketplace of ideas so felt the
need to "plonk" you - and advertise that as if someone
actually cares about his hissy fit.

I`ve only seen something similar once. Someone (who appeared
to be from the CIA, but he never admitted it) turned up to
alt.war.mercenary suggesting alternative places for us to all go.

He was presumably assigned to check for terrorist activity and
wanted to make his job easier.

So what`s this guy`s game? From what I can see he is wanting
very complex discussions way outside the capability of
hobbyists to implement. And the ulterior motive for that is what?
Microsoft plant? Or is the GNU Utopia under threat?

I assume he`s not going to be taking the result of the discussion
and emailing Microsoft et al with suggested new directions for
their existing OSes, thanks to input from a bunch of lunatics.
So "productive" means what, exactly?

Let`s wait and see if he reveals what he`s up to.
