I have learned that the transition from Cauldron to Mageia 9 is not 
quite as "automatic" as I thought.

If you have Mageia 9 installed and running from when it was in Cauldron, 
you`ll need to run, as root, the command "urpmi --auto-update" to 
complete the transition.
