 Victor Davis Hanson is another clear thinker who, when one listens,
realizes he hits nails on the head to explain the chaos happening in
America today. Is the society splintering apart to such degree there can no
longer be reconciliation? Is revolution and/or civil war or a police state
the only determinant paths out the mess we now find ourselves in? 

 Hanson speaks to how, when a majority of people are continually
being forced to comply with things they do not accept, it cannot last.
There are many cases in point...from open borders to executive decrees to
drag queens for third graders to biological males being allowed to
compete against women and dress in their locker rooms, to 36 trillion in
debt in runaway spending, to irrelevant departments like Education...and
ultimately how all this is being `sustained` on the public via Elitist control
of our institutions...from and most importantly the media [including
social], and education, and most forms of informational input to that public,
and a rising corporate strong arming toward wokeism [such as the Bud
Light incident]. 

 Activism, once upon a time, was a vital and healthy thing, whereby
`influence` was through persuasion...a gentle suggestive thing whereby the virtues
of any movement were shown to that public, and people decided
enmasse...either to embrace or reject. Change was peaceable and through majority
will. No longer. 

 With the rise of the internet, it has become all too easy to
capture the eyes and ears of that public...but no longer to persuade, but
to intimidate, to anger, to threaten...to cancel. FEAR has been rising
in a new world emollulent that we are all now caught up in...from
Pandemics, to Climate change and oil demonization, to a new casting of white
people as monsters of the world. 

 The result is the creation of MOBs...hell bent on emotion and
little else, and surely with little forethought or rational logic. Sure,
"Let`s Defund the Police", the raging mob calls out, not realizing in so
doing they rid themselves of their own protection against the very uncivil
society they now invite. Hanson speaks to San Fransico for example [and
California in general]...now a hell hole for all but the most affluent [who
can seal themselves off in walled communities]...from the sewered
walkways, drugs, human decrement, and garbage that riddles the streets...along
with the uncivility and crime that goes with it. 

 And yet, as Hanson compares historical precedent, people of past
`rotting` cultures, such as Rome, found out too late, how their policies
invited that rot...and were doomed. 

 Is America doomed...for revolution or civil war? Are there enough
patriots to rise up to defend her...or are the numbers accumulated from the
constant contrivances of negativity produced enough hatred of America from
within...that we can never be whole again? 

 Hanson speaks to how race has become the key preponderant behind
this NEW fracture; and a demarcation that cannot be remedied. In the
past, class has been that preponderant...where the remedy would be to
improve the lives of workers, where they become part of that ruling
hegemony of upper crust. But race offers no such remedy, no reconciliation,
but only struggle. It is the Marxist ploy upon all levels that include
gender, where reconciliation is not even an objective, but ONLY domination. 

 Hanson speaks to how western Europe is fast rejecting the American
model of multiculturism, mainly for reason of simple observation. The
fractures that have occurred since George Floyd have brought to the surface
apparent deep divisions that have existed in a `supposed` multicultural
society. It appears that racial enclaves have only separated even more, and
people have become more divided than ever before [to the eyes of western
europe]. And a new vehemence of insurrection and revolution has risen from
once hopeful ideas of diversity. A colorless society has now become `all
against the white man` society [at least in a growing element of elitist
media and campus circles]. This is not peace nor tranquility...and not
even stability. It is chaos rising in our midst, and we ourselves have
no control except to sit and watch it happen [as long as the
instigators remain in power].

 No one really knows what model might work best, but only that the
one America has imposed upon the world has not. And so, there has been
a push in Western nations to draw back from such a model, and defend
what cultures have traditionally existed. 

 In the meantime, like a runaway train, present administration is
full bore ahead in promoting all policies that have led us to this
state of present affairs. Can that train be stopped? Is the great
experiment of American freedom and opportunity, once the envy of the world,
now DOOMED; cast upon that historical garbage heap of failure? 

 Hanson speaks to the `real` threats to our Democracy in the linked
video here. It is not Trump, or conservatism, or even Biden and the Deep
State...but a loss of faith by it`s people...either by distrust, or that rising
anger and hatred...that promises to fracture us once and for all.
