I figured out why it wasn`t working... I had closed the port on my router.
That said, I also think I figured out why I did so. I was able to lynx to
it but, as there is apparently no way to log on via the synchronet gopher
pages, so you are presented with a rather small selection of message
groups and file areas, none of which are accessible without a logon.
So all you get is the main page and links that don`t function.
I closed port 70 back up. ;)
