There are some people (myself included) that have to use SIO2K to get VMODEM
working. VMODEM from SIO 1.60d crashes with an error in POPUPLOG.OS2
immediately upon startup.

Apparently it`s an issue where the older VMODEM.EXE calls a function in
TCP32DLL that is broken or missing in some versions of TCP/IP for OS/2. I`ve
never managed to figure out exactly what version of TCP/IP for OS/2 you need
to have for VMODEM 1.60d to work.
