YT does not present itself as an equivalent to something like  
Spotify.  Sorry.

YT does allow saving vids in play lists, but if I am interested  
in music, the video content (often static or poster-preference  
images) is overkill and irrelevent to me as a "listener".

Even the YT vids of 45`s being played seems silly. I know what  
a spinning record looks like. I don`t need 3-4 minutes of that!

Besides, vid content is a bigger data hog than simply the  
audio.  I wouldn`t want to waste data/bandwidth for video that  
I don`t need.
