I`ll accept six years then for the best you can possibly get for macOS full
support (assuming that machine can run the latest macOS release).

Compare that six years to the twenty five years of full Windows support.

If the 2008 PC can`t run Windows 11, then it`s "only" fifteen years of full
Windows support compared to less than half that for full macOS support.

Apple support is the shortest in the industry no matter how you measure it.
