On my Motorola, there are two resets. One just resets the software, and
the other returns the phnoe to original factory conditions.
I was referring to the software reset.
WHile I don`t see what a connection reset (I assume a reset with the
carrier) I don`t see how that would affect the problem you are
experiencing. As the commericial many years age "Try it you will like
it" It can not hurt any thing.
