My mistake. I incorrectly assumed the C700 firmware was part of the
ROM image that the emulators use. So I didn`t check with the other
emulator firmwares to compare the $C70D routine. It turns out that the COP
81 is only used in Sweet16.
But the confusion still remains as to where the SmartPort call taps into Prodos.
