Quoting Inside Job (the series)... "Everybody knows Akira! Anime is
mainstream now!". Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator
have managed to transcend the "boring simulator ghetto" to the point
that nobody will ever give you a weird look, but will ask for
interesting stories, or to which degree of faithfulness a location has
been recreated in game.
