Let`s talk action then: A while back, I switched my interactive
shell on FreeBSD from bash to the native sh. (I admit, I cherry-picked
the ability to have non-printing characters in prompt strings from
the development branch.)
Because... it`s good enough. I mean, I still don`t use most of
bash`s interactive features after 30+ years, so what`s the point?
