MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
Title: Margaritas
Categories: Alcohol, Beverages
Yield: 8 Margaritas
1 2/3 c Sauza Comemorativo tequila
1/4 c Grand Marnier
1/2 c Lime juice
1 ts Lime zest; finely grated
1/4 c Sugar
Lime wedges
Coarse salt
This is the very best Margarita I`ve ever had (and I`ve had LOTS!).
Note that it takes fresh lime juice and zest/rind: it takes the best
to make the best!
Mix the tequila, Grand Marnier, lime juice, lime zest, and sugar in a
glass or plastic pitcher until the sugar dissolves. Cover and
refrigerate at least 2 hours (but no more than 24 hours). Strain into
another pitcher.
Rub the rims of eight 6 to 8 oz glasses with a lime wedge, then dip
the rims in a dish of coarse salt. Serve the margaritas on the rocks
in the prepared glasses.
