I remember the first trip to Canada w/Hoosier Tire. We were doing an
Indy Car race at San Air in Quebec. So we crossed at Detroit/Windsor.
After clearing customs we set off down the 401 and stopped at one of the
service plazas to get a meal. I paid with a U$20 for a CAD7 check and the
cashier gav me back CAD22 and change. I though to myself "I`m gonna like
this."

If they`re well done (crispy). I also had a favourite place that did a
thing they called "cottage fries" which was 1/4" cubes of potato deep
fried and with a garlic butter sauce. I liked it so well I managed to
get the recipe for the sauce so could do it at home.

Tends to freak people out who are expecting regular "breakfast" sausage
with its sage undertone and they get something with a lot of oregano
and basil, etc. Or a fairly bland, but different flavoured altogether
bratwurst patty. Bv)=
