      Title: Slow-Cooker Oatmeal
 Categories: Grains, Dairy, Fruits, Nuts
      Yield: 4 servings
 
      2 c  Milk
      1 c  Old-fashioned oats
      1 c  Chopped, peeled, tart apple
    1/2 c  Raisins
    1/4 c  Packed brown sugar
    1/4 c  Chopped walnuts
      1 tb Butter; melted
    1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
    1/4 ts Salt
 
  In a 1 1/2 qt. slow cooker coated with cooking spray,
  combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 3-4
  hours or until liquid is absorbed and oatmeal is tender.
  If desired, serve with additional milk, walnuts and
  cinnamon.
