Title: Swedish Apple Pie

2 tb Flour
3/4 c Sugar
pn Salt
1 lg Egg; beaten
1 ts Vanilla extract
1 c Sour cream
3 md Apples; peeled, sliced
1 (9") unbaked pie shell
MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING-------------------------------
1/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Flour
3/4 ts Cinnamon powder
1/4 c Butter; cold
Set the oven @ 450┬║F/230┬║C.
In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Mix in
the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Combine
this mixture with the sliced apples. Pour into the
unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 20 minutes, turn oven heat down to 350┬║F/175┬║C
and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
TO MAKE THE TOPPING: In mixing bowl, combine the sugar,
flour, and cinnamon powder, cut in the cold butter.
After the pie has baked at 350┬║F/175┬║C for 20 minutes,
add the topping and bake for an additional 20 minutes
more.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
