 I`m now trying to set up a new mail/news reader (Thunderbird) as
the one I`ve been using for the last twenty years will run only on
Windows 10 and support for that expires next year. I note that Thunderbird
is 64-bit so that should last for another year or so!

So if there`s anything technically wrong with this I apologise in advance.
