Hmmm yes, not very logical, was it? ;-)

Quite. Well, I still have a computer here which runs XP but it
gives me more grief than I need so I fire it up only when I need to
get something from it.
However, I have three other computers here which all run Windows 10
(one has 64-bit installed and the other two are 32-bit). At least I
*did have* two which are 32-bit but it was one of them which just
stopped working. I tried a little resuscitation on it but didn`t have the
time to do more. When I built these computers I installed OEM Windows
which means that I can`t transfer the activation to another computer. I
now see that wasn`t a good idea and should have paid the full amount
for a retail version.
So that means that, as my computer begin to die, one by one, I
have to replace them with new builds. And as Windows 10 is no longer
on sale, I have to buy a retail copy of Windows 11.
Tell me if there`s a flaw in my thinking but remember, I`m too
old now to tinker around with vintage computer systems. I get too
obsessed with them to the detriment of all the other things I have to do!
Anyway, I seem to have registered successfully with my new mail
reader on Bj├╢rn`s server as I can send and receive. But at the moment
I`m not receiving back the messages that I`ve written.
David
