 You`re missing the point I fear ... When Matthias dropped-in out of
the blue in 2021 he was going to make Fidonet explode and bloom as
never before ... at that time R30 had already been removed from the
nodelist by request of its last RC Rudi Kneubuehler in November 2019.
 
 He wanted to create a mega-hub handling "all" the mail for the
entire zone and beyond based on experiences from 20 years before. He
started getting links everywhere and advertising his system as the future
... the same as Jens Mueller had done in the early 90-ies, the same
as Felix Kasza had tried shortly before. Others have tried as well but
those hubs, a thing from the past now that direct links have been
enabled by IP-technologym were never successful because they were too
dependant on the sysop running the system.
 
 When it grew over his head and Matthias realized there is no such
thing as a Fido-Pope, suddenly this Alisha person entered the stage within
a brief period And would also be the saviour, linking everywhere.
 
 Then Matthias vanished, and this Alisha-person also vanished. They
are uncontactable but have a VPN probably running somewhere they forgot
about.
 
 My point is a system without a sysop is unreliable and depending
upon it for your mail is not a wise thing.
 
 Everybody has been able to follow my quest to see what the status
is of R30 Switzerland and the sad truth is that other than Benoit
there is no status.
 
 So if you are in need of links for mail, I can make a number of
suggestions, one of them is to join the Fidoweb, when a link concks, there
always is another way ...
