 GPS is completely jammed/spoofed in large regions of Russia. In
Moscow some taxi drivers have old-fashioned paper street maps or ask "can
you show me how to get there?" when you get into their car :)

 I always fly to Russia with Turkish Airlines/Pegasus which enters
Russian airspace from EU and in Latvia, just over Rezekne city, the GPS
goes dead and stays dead till landing.
