 I learned to navigate with maps and compass when I was with the
boy scouts. I can still do that. I think... Later I also learned how
to navigate on the stars but I have forgotten most of that. Star
navigation is only usable when you can actually see the stars anyway, which
is next to impossible from occupaed areas these days. Even at open sea
it wll be difficult with alle the satellites contaminating the view.
