  As would I. These three people had obviously become close friends,
and maybe owls didn`t count to whoever was directing traffic.

  Since Alexander made reference to Harry`s owl, however, I asked
you for information because Ron said he could "send an owl". You know
a lot more than I do about such things because you`ve read the books
whereas I`ve only watched the movies. But in this context it seems owls
carry messages wherever they`re sent, unlike homing pigeons who don`t
return to aspiring "world class" cities like the one we live in where
there are strict rules re what critters are allowable. :-)
