 These are not properly translated. I wrote "aeiou" with acute
accents, not grave accents. I guess you used the ` character because there`s
no acute accent in ASCII<127. While I don`t like this, at least it
would be better to use the ` character instead.

 Anyway, it might be better to remove the accents, like in URL/slug
transliteration.
 That is, if you prefer that your gate/BBS converts them to pure
ASCII instead of UTF-8 or some charset.
