Correct.  For one thing, UTF-8 is limited to the Windows  
charsets supplied.

UTF-8 is supported on the inbound and outbound in nntp mode.   
But only in the inbound in Fido mode.

It`s very versatile. It`s an email/nntp/fido client all in one.
