 Traditionally, it`s where the Sysop lives, or where the local phone
number is. My BBS is hosted at Linode.com, physically located in Dallas,
TX. I, however, live in Wisconsin.

 I do have a dialup line which is a local number for me, (but it
isn`t set up for mail). It just forwards calls via telnet to the BBS.
