 Walgreens is a drug store chain in the US. Senior citizens rely heavily
 on pharmacies and are some of the last holdouts writing checks.

 The last time I went to pick up a prescription, I saw a notice that
 read that if you wrote a check, it was authorization for them to do an
 ACH debit in the amount on the check, and you wouldn`t see a cancelled
 check in your bank statement. I suppose it`s quicker, more foolproof
 and accomplishes the same effect - them getting paid.
