 Most of the systems in Metro Manila were run by Chinese Filipinos probably
due to the cost, there were only two expats being a Brit and myself. I can`t
really remember but I don`t think the Philippines ever had 50 systems even

There was Wildcat 4 BBS run by the son of the head of the Ingleso de Cristo
church which had 10+ free public nodes where one could download almost any
available software at the time. There was never a chance that it would be
raided.

Actually it was quite difficult to connect to a BBS in those days.
