A suggestion for what?
What I do here, is I have manually defined every netmail and
echomail area with AREADEF in goldarea.inc:
areadef NETMAIL "Netmail" net Jam /path/to/msgbase/netmail
areasep !OTHERNET#1 "Othernet #1" echo
areadef ON1-CHAT "General Chat" echo Jam /path/to/msgbase/ot1-chat
...
areasep !OTHERNET#2 "Othernet #2" echo
areadef ON2-CHAT "General Chat" echo Jam /path/to/msgbase/ot2-chat
...
... and so on until all of your areas are listed. Then include
that file into your golded.conf using "include goldarea.inc" without
quotes. The AREASEP keyword is just a divider that you can put in to
separate things if you care to. It is not needed if you don`t want to use
it.
Then in golded.conf, you can use the AREALISTSORT keyword with
whatever sorting options are available to you, in whichever order you want
them in. This is all defined in golded-plus/manuals/gold_ref.txt for better
understanding of what each one does and the options available with them.
If you don`t care to be so precise, and just want all areas
listed in Golded, use the AREALIST method I mentioned in a previous reply.

echomail.jam is for echomail, and netmail.jam is for netmail. Mystic
usually creates and reads something similar to these in the mystic/semaphore
directory. You will probably have to take a look at the Golded documentation
I pointed you to, as well as Mystic`s documentation on getting them
both to match and work together nicely.

Nick
