It is. But you can`t see it if your terminal can`t display colors.

For a "save" color config without errors use the predefined colorset patterns.
 It`s on page 26 of my edited version of the golded reference
manual but i think a text search will reveal the location in the original
version. If you don`t get different colors with that presets then your issue
is with the terminal.
