 Now that you mention this.. I remember something similar to this
being said to me when I asked about it. I may have even forwarded that
information from Rob to Vitaliy at the time, since he was working on fixing

 Very possible. Your best bet would be to confirm this with Rob. I
remember bits and pieces of our conversation awhile back (this could have
been around the same time, or shortly thereafter, as the message you
brought up from a couple years ago) in regards to everything odd I could
find with Golded and Synchronet. When I realized the current Golded devs
didn`t have the time (or interest, really), I moved on to something else.
