I recently downloaded the GitHub GED+ and it compiled just fine on my
Slackware 15 system.  Perhaps if you are having issuing compiling, you could
provide a compile log to the current developer to assist in improving GED+?

I also successfully compiled the same code under a FreeBSD 15.1 VM.
