 This should be the best description. However, you`ve misinterpreted
it to assume that it`s for your telnet BBS, when the flag itself is
used for a telnet mailer. It`s another form of transferring mail.

 It`s not used much any more, but I believe MBSE and Irex support
it. I`m sure there`s probably others, too.. but I`ve never used it.

 Either way, there are no nodelist flags for the use of connecting
to a BBS. The nodelist is specifically for FTN related mailer
connections. Though you could technically use the system_name field to put your
telnet address (the one used to connect to your actual BBS) in, instead
of actually using your system`s name, if you really wanted to do so.

 I don`t think many people use a nodelist as any kind of BBS list,
though.. so it would be kind of pointless.
