 Sure. You find a BBS and connection information to visit the BBS,
then you look for FTN capabilities? That sounds normal. If you did it
the other way around, noticing FTN capabilities for a BBS you might be
interested in actually calling, you would have to look for connection
information elsewhere, besides the nodelist.. unless you take a guess via an
FTN connection method (as sometimes it`s the same address, just different
port).

 My point was, nodelists are only for FTN connections. Not telnet/ssh
connection advertising. The ITN flag in the nodelist is for telnet mailers,
not telnet connections to visit a BBS.
