I`d forgotten about the bar - when you ordered an alcoholic drink at the
table, they`d come back from a dark bar to bring it to you. Spent many a
weekend post-party debriefing and late night college study session at
Denny`s, but never went to the bar.

When I was in college we`d get $1.99 grand slam breakfasts and spent
hours there doing homework. As long as the tables weren`t needed, we
were polite and tipped well, the coffee kept coming.

As we said, "you never go to Denny`s, you end up there."
