Well, willing to play a bit of DIY, it shouldn`t be difficult to create
a small program (standalone or VB6 IDE addin) to perform the task, you
give it the path containing the files to process and the code sweeps
over the "bas cls frm..." files and inserts line numbers, then ok, the
code will need a bit of "logic" to handle the "hidden stuff" found
inside the files and not visible in IDE, but again, it shouldn`t be too
difficult putting it together...

... although I can`t understand why one would need line numbers; if
that`s for "error catching", then there are a number of robust error
handling functions and tricks which won`t need the "line number" to
emit meaningful error messages :)
