I haven`t read anything by PKD in its entirety yet, but  
Vulcan`s Hammer sounds interesting.  Apparently it was  
announced in 2021 that a screenplay was in the works for a  
film.

In my research for similar themes of Vulcan`s Hammer, I`ve come  
across these that explore similar ideas of technology,  
artificial intelligence, and dystopian futures:

1. **"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K. Dick**
- This novel, which inspired the movie "Blade Runner," explores
the nature of humanity and artificial intelligence in a future
where androids are nearly indistinguishable from humans.

2. **"Neuromancer" by William Gibson** - A seminal work in the
cyberpunk genre, this novel delves into the world of artificial
intelligence, cyberspace, and a high-tech dystopian future.

3. **"1984" by George Orwell** - A classic dystopian novel that
