I read that the film was rescued by Ketchup Entertainment after the head  
honcho at WB was prepared to shelve the entire project as a loss and benefit  
from the tax savings instead.

I suppose a theatre screen experience is still worthy of the cost to see it  
in a sticky-floor pop-corn smelling, and candy wrapper-noise environment?

With today`s large screen TVs readily available for homes, I would think that  
it would be more comfortable "night-out" at home.
