 I think it is a good rule, Fidonet traditionally is real names
only, so the sysop field should contain the real name of the sysop.
First name and last name. But where did you find that rule?

 Yes, I think it should. Fortunately a useless modem flag is just
useless, it does no harm except take a few bytes extra which in this day
and age is not really an issue. Same goes for MO, CM and file req
flags for a Pvt node.
