 This is acceptable, and they also serve as backups for each other.
If the IP address changes, the DNS record can be quickly updated. And
if the DNS record becomes unavailable for any reason, there is still a
backup. As a result, the DNS Distributed Node List generates the following
records:

            f0.n5030.z2.fidonet.net. 3600 IN  A  217.71.231.2
_binkp._tcp.f0.n5030.z2.fidonet.net. 3600 IN SRV 0 1 24554 f0.s0t.ru.
 _binkp._tcp.f0.n5030.z2.fidonet.net. 3600 IN SRV 0 1 24554
f0.n5030.z2.fidonet.net.
