 i recall having to boot off of (emergency) boot floppies the few
times i had to repair a drive the system had locked during normal
operation... the first time i needed the floppies was a bit of a panic because
i had refused to create them right after initial installation... the
2nd time was a lesson learned the hard way... there was no 3rd time
for me back then...
