Yup.  But, like I said, most of the taxes collected come from the employees.

I remember many years ago, I worked for a company who`s office was outside the
city.  We paid no city tax - because we didn`t work in the city.  Later we
moved to a refurbished office building just in side the city limits.  All of us
got a 0.5% pay cut because we now had to pay city tax.

My company, though, got a big tax cut from the city, so you know that the city
made money on this deal - big time.

California taxes and regulations have been causing companies to flee for a long
time now.  It`s just gotten much worse in recent years.

My hope is that we can start dismanling the Deep State when Trump is elected. 
Putting a few of them in prison (or worse) will cause the rest to leave and
stop causing problems.

But, regardless, we will all need to be on our guard to never let this happen
again.
