 This is what I suspected. Not all states do their polling the same
way, and here in my state it would be easy for someone to walk into a
polling place and cast a ballot, without ID, as long as they have the
name of a registered voter for that particular polling place. And the
voter doesn`t have to be dead either, they just have to arrive to the
polling place later than the cheater. There are no surveillance cameras at
the polling places either, so there`s no prosecuting it either.

 I don`t have any experience with anything other than paper ballots.
What`s the alternative to paper?

 After having this conversation, now my concern is with early voting,
at least in New York. People can steal ballots by impersonating people
and the poll workers won`t care one way or the other as long as they
get paid for their work. And this state is the official dumping ground
for illegal migrants :(
