 That`s a pleasant surprise. NY`s GOP minority never puts up a fight
for anything.

 Someone told me that the state senate and state assembly candidates
get paid like $200k by the taxpayers just for running. I`m not sure
how true it is, but that would explain why many of these minority GOP
ever run for office in the first place. ($200k can buy a lot of
crack.)

 I met my district`s candidate for state senate a few days ago. He
seems cool. I think he`ll win at least, but I wonder if he will do
more than just get elected.

 Look at all these fancy job titles that we have for people; just
so that they can get a paycheck, do nothing for us, and ignore their
own laws.
