 In the past, other countries liked to buy US government bonds,
because they had a buffer in the form of assets in the world currency.
For the US, a wonderful thing, because they created money out of thin
air and received wonderful products in return. It is not without reason
that the US became the richest country in the world.

 But yes... they lived far beyond their means and the war in
Afghanistan in particular cost a lot of money, while the intended profits in
the form of the country`s mineral resources never materialized.

The US started printing far too many dollars and the world saw it.

China was the first to openly indicate that it wanted to own less American debt.

 Germany and the Netherlands demanded their physical gold back... All
indications that people were starting to trust the US less.

That only became clear in Trump`s first term.

 Biden was never able to fully regain that trust, partly because he
also continued to play Santa Claus in the aftermath of the Corona
crisis.

 Trump two confirms all the suspicions of bankers and politicians.
America First means that the US only thinks of itself and does not care
at all about the situation in other countries.

The tariffs that came into effect this week confirm the selfishness of the US.

 There is no other way than to create more distance and become less
dependent on the US. That in both economic and military areas. The US is NO
longer an ally.

 Let go of the past eighty years. The US is currently just as much
a threat to world peace as Russia and China are. That may sound
strange, but get used to it.
