The thing is that the system already has that built in.

When I go into the polls, I have to fill out a small form.  They verify my
name/address via my driver`s license and the voter rolls.  Then the ballot
number I am given is written on the form.

I vote, put the ballot into the tabulator and it gets counted.

So there **is** a way to see who I voted for, but you would have to get my
form, get the ballot number, then look through (on average) half the ballots
cast to see.

But they have a record of who voted.
